Question by DavidC: Should I get an Ipad?
I am going to either get a laptop or ipad.If I get the Ipad I would get pages, numbers and keynote so I could use it for school. I am mainly getting a portable computer (laptop or ipad) because I write a lot of essays for school, and my desktop computer takes way to long to turn on, and open applicaions like Microsoft word. I figured if I get the ipad, I get either the dock or the case, and the wireless keyboard, and it turns into a faster desktop computer, and then when Im on the go, I can still use the ipad because like my ipod touch, I assume some apps dont require wifi, whereas in that situation where don’t have wifi, what can I do on a laptop. So tell me your thoughts on this, referring to getting the ipad, the apple case, and the bluetooth keyboard, and use that instead of getting a laptop. Thanks in advance.

The problem is that ipads are overpriced, just get a netbook or laptop. Plus people don’t get the ipad for its typing ability, they get it to show off and see how far technology has gone. Another thing you gotta think about is that there are usbs on laptops/netbooks and no usbs to transfer data on an ipad. So its not very convenient and I heard the ipad glass isn’t that very durable. Forgot to mention, would you rather hold something that’s about 1lb in the air(iPad) or would you rather type on a table(laptop/netbook) where its more comfortable.
