Question by Joe M: iPad, there has to be a camera coming, right? i have proof!?
ok, so there are videos of people taking iPads apart on youtube, and the new case for the iPad (Contour iSee for iPad [http://store.apple.com/us/product/H0942ZM/A?fnode=MTc0MjU2Mjc&mco=MTgxOTI5MTU]) has a hole in the center of the top, most likley for an upcoming camera, right? ok, so my real question is this, why are there so many Apple secrets falling through the cracks latley?

That’s not for a camera.
It’s for the light sensor, so that the screen adjusts the brightness level according to the lighting of the setting it’s in.
I can’t guarantee that’s correct, but I CAN guarantee the case isn’t made so a camera can be put there.

I never understood the point in the iPad.
“I wish my iPhone was too big to fir in my pocket, and couldn’t make phone calls.”
a front camera? that might not be a bad idea. didn’t your also hear that a day b4 the ipod touch 3rd gen came out best buy was putting cases in their website and some had for camera, they tooked it off in a couple of hours. who knows when that might happen. but they try to hide so many things and then they fail. another reason why apple sucks.
(SARCASM) YES FINNALY A CAMERA FOR IPAD!!! THIS IS GONNA BE SOOOO MUCH EASIER THAN USING MY IPONE CAMERA SINCE ITS 4X THE SIZE!!!!(end sarcasm/)
i’d be real mad if the ipad got a camera before the ipod touch
The only practical use of a camera in the iPad would be for a webcam. And even then, I’m not sure it’s exactly practical.
