Question by thisisvj89: can the ipad play music and run other applications?
i understand the ipad does not multitask but neither does the ipod touch. i’m wondering if the ipad will not be able to play music while browsing safari or writing an email. the ipod touch can do this and if the ipad can’t then man does it fail. (mac fan here)

iPhone user here! And yes it can, but the iPad, in my opinion, is just a bigger iTouch (or in my case, iPhone sans the Phone and the MMS). Why not invest in a MacBook, because I just don’t see the potential in the iPad?
