I have a rubber case thing for my iPod and wanted these so the screen and scroll wheel would be protected, and while the screen is totally protected, they made separate parts for the scroll wheel that don’t fit together perfectly so there’s still space for it to get scratches (and be sure it will, with all the scrolling). Application is sort of tricky and took me a minute to figure out since the directions in translation from Chinese won’t help you (“If has any questions to paste in the course, can carefully to take it out, paste it again.”). I peeled off the plastic that the iPod came in to put these on, but put the original back on after discovering the gaps.

the top sticker did peel off with a residue, but it was only on the protective film OVER the REAL protective film…
work with the top sticker to peel off a layer of film with it and you’ll be fine…

There are 2 stickers on the back of the skin that say “Please peel off this Mask BEFORE application”, and doing so peels off the backing, exposing the sticky surface you apply to the Nano. fine.
but…there’s another sticker on the front of the film that says “Please peel off this Mask AFTER application completed.” …and you can’t. It’s like a price sticker, where peeling it off leaves half the paper backing and the kind of glue they invented “Goo-Gone” for. I’m hesitant to use acetone on my $250 plastic ipod. This should have been just simple ‘peel-off’ post-it type glue.
That’s really the only thing wrong, but it’s enough…
