The other ipods (shuffles, nanos) don’t have the capability to play games. It’s just a tiny screen mostly used to listen to music, watch movies, and a recent nano could take pictures. But on these you can’t access the app store.

The other answer is flat-out wrong. To browse compatible games, in iTunes, mouse over the App Store tab until the down arrow appears, then click on it and choose iPod Click Wheel Games from the drop down list. Have fun!
