Question by Lauren: How do I convince my mom to buy me an Ipad for my birthday?
Help! Currently, I am in eighth grade and I am going to high school next year. My birthday is over the summer and my parents were planning on getting me a laptop. But my problem is that I don’t want a laptop but an Ipad. Ipads are so cool unlike stupid laptops. I already convinced my dad to get it for me but now I just have to convince my mom (who is stubborn). What can I tell her to convince her to buy that instead of a laptop?

A laptop is probably a better option and better value if you are going to highschool. They have more storage and are more compatible with most software.
As ‘cool’ as you reckon the Ipad is, it is probably not going to suit your needs.
Be grateful that your parents are getting you anything at all.

I would agree with Trem, an ipad is more of an entertainment device, music media streaming. And although you can use the ipad screen to type and what not for school a laptop or desktop keyboard are more efficient and built for this purpose. Ipad is a device that i certainly want but I will not buy one because I do not need it.
well u could tell here some facts and show how badly you want it but not on your knees like that just you know show her how badly
buddy just say to your mom that if she bought you a ipad you would be so pleased and you would use it for studying or else ,just tell your expectation and you mom will consider your choice.
