Farmville does work on the Ipad, there is an app for it. Runescape on the other hand, is absolutely not worth playing on the Ipad, it will be slow, and choppy, regardless if you are on 3g or wifi. The Ipad doesn’t have enough processing power to run Runescape smoothly.
However, be warned that not every Facebook application will work on the iPad, because Apple chose not to support Flash on their iPad for silly reasons.
The farmville app for ipad/iphone just came out a few days ago. It is free.
