The Demise of Google Wave
For Wave – Google really needed to do something better with the interface….. perhaps they needed to look at theWPF (silverlight) or look at 3D interfaces etc…. Perhaps they needed HTML5….. but to me Ajax… did not look powerful enough to realize the communication’s vision they had.

Kiwi Cola – New Zealand’s laid back answer to Coke
A New Zealand Company has produced a laid back answer to Coke – and have called it “Kiwi Cola”. Whereas Coke uses the coca leaf – Kiwi Cola – instead uses the Kawakawa leaf. The Kawakawa tree is only found in New Zealand – and is said to have healing properties.

Taakawa Beer – New Zealand
Taakawa Beer is made from Kawakawa leaves – which are found only in New Zealand. The story of Taakawa is an interesting one – two kiwi guys who started out with an ambition to take on Stella – but ended up caught in a spiral of personal differences. I believe they will solve these – and give Stella a run!

Flounder in New Zealand
Flounder has got to be my favorite fish – delicate and delicious it deserves to be on the same pedestal as the whitebait. I remember – when hitchhiking once – a Maori bloke telling me that snapper was shit fish – he just ate flounder – yellow belly flounder at that. He was specific – others not so.
