Question by iSwagg A: Is the iPad worth buying for me?
So far, I like the iPad, but not 100%
The main thing that bothers me is:
No Java/Flash Support
No Camera
Will there be updates for the iPad to make the iPad run Flashplayer/JavaScript?
Also, will there be accessories for the iPad..
such as: A camera (made specifically for the iPad) that hooks up to the 30-pin connector?
If these 2 things do happen, I will for sure buy the iPad. 😀
Im not looking for an all out portable computer, since I own a desktop already.
I just need a something on the Go. Something that serves as an iPod and many more at the same time. 🙂

If you’re going to get one, wait till the second generation iPad comes out. If we’ve learned anything about apple, it’s that you should always wait for the second generation because that’s when they perfect the art of creating excellent products.
I’m certainly not going to buy it for you.

Nobody knows for sure but a camera is a definite possibility. Flash is most definitely not ever going to happen on the iPhone or the iPad, Jobs thinks it is a dying thing and that everything will be HTML5 soon.
This is a consumer device, if you want to listen to music, read books and casually surf the internet than it is for you. Otherwise, hold off.
The fact you were able to write this says you are able to do computing tasks. If you really want a sh1tty apple product so bad just buy a used iPod touch with 16GB for $150. it does all the same sh8t.
The IPhone still won’t support Flash or Java. My own opinion is that the iPad won’t for some time. Remember, too, that the IPhone debuted at twice the price it ended up. I’d wait a bit. At least for the next model.
if you jailbreak it, you can probably run flash player, but that is one of the only ways to run flash on it. the camera will not come for this generation.
I myself love the look of the iPad and cannot wait to purchase one, this is mainly because I love reading books and reckon the book store will be a great way of purchasing books and reading them without my bookcase getting rammed full of books.
If you are not already aware the iPad is NOT a computer. It is basically a huge iPod touch with a ton of added features. If you like reading books, listening to music, watching videos, browsing the internet and managing emails then the iPad is for you! 🙂
ipad is not great at the moment if you want agood mobile pc then buy a asus 1201n which at eh moment is as powerful as top spec laptops of 2years ago. which is crazy! for £399/$499. The ipad will never get falsh support because apple remain adamnet that it is not needed when journalists ask questions about it so i dont think adobe will be in much of a rush to give them the right to use it unless ahell of a lot money is involved.
It costs as much as a hihgend netbook which is much more powerful in comparision and you can install any software you want on it. For people who no nothing its great amazing for people who know something they will no that you can get plenty of phones which have equal or superior power to this device.
There will not be acamera that hooks up to the device apple have already shown there accesoires that they are going to make and this is not one of them.
overall its is crappest invention ever to big to be aphone. to small a unpractical adn underpowered to a netbook or laptop. not the right type of screen to be an ereadet youll get head aches immediately. so in opther words it cant do anything that worth it. youdf be better of with a nexus one or iphone 3gs
