Question by Feed Me Answers!: Is there an application to turn the ipad into a customizable input device for a desktop?
A really specific question, I know. At first, I had no desire for an Ipad, but when I think of using it as an input device, I just see so much potential. Allowing each finger to act as a mouse. Assigning functions of your choice to gestures… Even a keyboard may not be necessary. Not to mention the possibilities of your input device being able to function as a display device and portable storage. I can even see accessories to build upon this function being sold. A horizontal dock to hold it in place while charging and using it, perhaps have a few tactile keys on each side you could assign functions to for gamers… This has to be too awesome of an idea for no one else to have come up with it yet. If I am the first to think of this, hurry up and steal my idea you lazy Istore app developers! Make this work. Who knows. I may actually buy an Ipad someday.
I love how I never get much of an answer on Yahoo Answers. Makes me feel like I ask the big questions! Or at least questions not really worth pondering…

I haven’t played with it yet, but there is an app that allows the iPad to act as a remote control for a MacBook.
