You would need a digital copy of Harry Potter. iPad has iBooks which you can use to buy and read the book but Kindle has an app too.

i believe there is many third party and many application for read. just take a look at search engine, or find out in iPad store.
I have the iPad 64GB 3G version with both the Kindle app and Apple’s iBooks app.
Both are free apps that you install onto your iPad.
Both allow you to browse either the Kindle store (if you are using the Kindle app) or the Apple store (if you are using the iBooks app).
You can purchase books and download them directly to your iPad and the books are yours until you delete them off.
It is impossible. JK Rowling has NEVER authorized a free ebook. She does not want any of her books in ebook format.
ANY Harry Potter ebook is a work of theft.

You download the Ebook off of bn.com or some other book website, then just download it to your IPad.
