MY FATHER WANT TO BUY ME A GIFT FOR MY GRADUATION FROM SCHOOL. HE SAID TO ME TO CHOOSE BETWEEN MAC PRO LAPTOP OR IPAD. I AM CONFUSED , AND I DON’T WHAT TO MY. I WANT TO KNOW WHICH IS BETTER IN MY CASE?

The Dell. Don’t waste money on that over rated, over price Apple bling. Its ALL looks and NO functionality.

The iPad is quite limited in what you can do. It’s great if you just want to browse the web and play the apps that they have in the app store, but it’s not an open system, so if you have some software you want to install, you would need to jail break it (and that’s assuming the software works on a jailbroken iPad).
The Macbook Pro is much more versatile and it will stay usable for longer. Eventually you are going to need to print something and do some decent amount of typing so I would advise a laptop.
The iPad is a ‘tablet’ & the Mac Pro is a ‘laptop’… tablets are designed to be a companion to a laptop or desktop, but are not a replacement. The iPad can do a lot, but nothing in comparison to the Mac Pro.
iPad benefits:
>> Higher mobility
>> 250,000+ apps
>> Longer battery life
>> 3G compatibility (via AT&T)
Mac Pro benefits:
>> Faster processor
>> Physical keyboard
>> Sophisticated apps
>> Much larger support & community
>> More “bang for the buck”
The iPad is fun & entertaining, yet if you are looking for productivity then buy the Mac Pro.
