Question by ozzyc23: Should I get an iPad or iPod Touch?
I’m looking to buy an Apple product sometime in the next year, and I’m torn between the already popular iTouch, or the new iPad, which I think would have a few advantages to the iPad though with the carrier case the least expensive version is still 400 dollars more than a Touch. I also think I should maybe wait until the 2nd generation when they work out what kinks it may have and possibly give it a camera or multitasking capabilities. Thoughts?

iPod Touch is already tested and it admired by billions of users so buying it will be a safe bet iPad, on the other hand, is evolving. iPod Touch and iPhone brought App store and it became a phenomena now iPad is bringing iBooks. iBooks is not only for eBook readers it will attract people from every walk of lives. It will have thousands of amazing FREE books.
According to recent surveys,iWork is another major reason why 30% of people want to buy iPad.
Photo Editing,music composing and learning will be incredible on it.
Needless to say Gaming is going to be mesmerizing.
iPod Touch ,iPhone ,iPad all do multitasking but in different way so don’t go by commercial of Verizon which are a desperate attempt to save the company which is losing customer base rapidly.
Traditional Multitasking: Minimize the app window, open another window, maximize and use it then minimize, maximize the other one.
iDevices: Press the home button and open the other app, if you get a message on other app, just tap and go to other app. No need to maximize and minimize.
If you want to play radio at the background , you can easily do it. Get the app “radio” from App Store. Its FREE. IT runs at the background. Voice recorder app runs at the background too.
If you have app Downloader, you can download a movie and while downloading a movie, you can listen to song,browse the internet, check email.
Listen to radio or iPod and browse the internet or read the news or play a game. And while doing all these , if a news break, you will the first to know by PUSH NOTIFICATION by CNN.
You can do many things simultaneously.
My advice: IF you want to experience a cutting edge technology which wont replace a pocket media player,smartphone and a laptop, get the iPad.
