The iPad I think has better graphics, but just by a little bit I suppose. The iPad has more expensive games than the iPod touch has (some of the same games, but HD versions). So basically, the iPod Touch and iPad aren’t very different from each other.
First off you should use a computer/gameboy/ or other game consul to play your games. But I would assume that the ipad would have better graphics due to the fact that it is larger. Giving it more space for RAM and processing power.
Don’t use an iPod or iPad for gaming, that’s ridiculous!
Use instead a PSP, DS or whatever portable gaming system.
Touch screen based buttons are horrible for gaming, well for casual gamers that may work out fine.
