The New iPad is slightly better than iPad 2 because of its HD Graphics and up-to-date software. Rather than asking this question, you should focus on your budget, if 0 is too much, the iPad 2 can do the same job as the new iPad. If you have no problems investing on a tablet for 0, the new iPad can also do the job.

You should buy the new iPad. Because it has better screen resolution, better camera, full HD with 1020p, ready for 4G.
You’re going to have a wait a bit for new covers because the older ones won’t fit is what I’m hearing. Also the new one is slightly heavier. Maybe get a Two for a better deal.
