Question by Yakelerrrr: So confused on which to chose! PLEASE… help?
So I’m in desperate need of a new computer; mostly because mine can’t handle iTunes and the like. Every time I get on my computer crashes, blue screen, crying and whining, it’s not pretty.
So I’ve been surfing the internet for a new computer, and I’d usually look into an HP laptop or something other than a Mac, but I’ve come to a very large stump.
I have some apple appliances, and it’s been a nightmare trying to update them with my current comp.
So, first question, which one should I get?
Will there be anything new coming up?
I am really leaning towards a MacBook, is there anything I should know?
Are there Accessories or software I’d have to purchase after I buy IT?
What about the new iPad?
Any other details you’d like to explain are encouraged! Please help!

For a Good macbook……it will cost 1500 dollar EASY. But it is very much worth it. I spent 2200 on my macbook pro. There is nothing extra you will have to buy besides warenty……that and it will last like a crazy long time. Get a macbook pro. Crazy worth the money. Also make sure you get the education discount no matter what if you buy one. Do not get the iPad. It will not be able to do what you want it to.

ok you want a computer and are used to PC . get a nice Windows computer..
but if you want to use it for itunes and more professional work, you can get a mac cuz its best at what it does.. not much in software editing tho
iPad: NO, its not even close to a computer , its just a blown up Ipod touch (useless) unless you want to do everything u did on the ipod touch in HUGE
I would get a Mac, expensive, but it takes some time to get used to
Apple computers are very reliable. They cost a bit more, but when you consider the quality of tech support and customer service, it’s very much worth while. HP and Dell consistently have terrible customer service and higher than average failure rates. I hear good things about ASUS, but Apple is hard to beat.
Apple generally announces big changes to hardware in August/September for their Mac lineup. Usually, the upgrades are minimal. There are rumors about Apple getting i3, i5 or i7 processors. Still, it’s more important to focus on, does this computer do what I need?
Macbooks are great first Macs and there isn’t a reason to get a MacBook Pro for most consumers (although I do have one). The Macbook is great as is, I would consider upgrade to 4gb of ram as that boosts lag when multitasking. I would also consider Applecare. APP takes care of hardware and gives you 3 years of tech support, if you buy online through the education site, you get a discount.
The iPad is potentially amazing, but we don’t know how that’ll work out. For storing large amounts of music, I’d rather get a laptop. Accessories, you can get a case, vga adapter for projector, but that’s it. If you’re near an Apple Store, I’d stop by, if not I’d play with them at a Best Buy, but don’t buy there. You’re better off buying online from Apple or Microcenter. Hope this helps.

I have a problem for composing an email. When I click on NEW the window for composing email does not open instead ERROR ON PAGE appear on bottnm bar. With the result I am not able to compose the email.
I contacted microsoft and they told me to contact YAHOO fo help for correcting this problem.
Please help me to overcome this problem.
