No free applications or WiFi! iPads costs way more than it’s worth!

I have an iPod touch. I love it! There are ALOT of fun apps that are free. And there are also ALOT of fun apps that costs money. The iPad is DEFINITELY worth buying! And no, the wifi does NOT cost money. (:
1)its starts at around $500
2)yes there are some free apps like the ipod touch- there are a variety of apps both free and charged
3) depends on your opinion but heres some of the points I didnt like about it:
-cant use flash to view videos and flash game on the internet
-kinda over priced for 8G ($500) of memory
4) no wifi doesnt cost money if your using a local network unless you wanna use a data plan while travelling, which is like the iphone(when your not using a local network, u can use the internet from the company your with while on the road ex. at&t)
There are free applications for the ipad though most quality applications cost anywhere from a $1 to roughly $10.
Wifi is free for most people but it depends on where you are. Wifi is not available everywhere and some stores may give you free wifi where others may ask you to purchase a product before you can use their wifi. You may already have wifi at home if you have a modem/router/gateway that has the ability to transmit wireless data (just look for an antenna or google your router/gateway/modem model number to find out if it has wifi)
The iPad, iPhone and iTouch are a scam and this is the reason why: Apple owns your product even after you buy it, you can only buy and use their applications, only let them change the battery, but any time they can change the rules, and what you bought could be taken away from you, whether it’s an application or media. You can never take what you’ve bought and transfer it anywhere else, it’s not really yours at all.
To answer your WiFi question, WiFi is free if you have your own WiFi network in your home which requires purchase of a WiFi router connected to your internet service. You can also get free WiFi from neighbors unsecured networks (although this is technically illegal, an open network is open for a reason in my opinion), and from networks at various stores, coffee shops and the like. WiFi doesn’t travel very far so unless you’re near any of those places you won’t be able to connect to the internet with WiFi.
The 3G or 4G wireless version of the iPad has a monthly fee similar to the service plan for the iPhone but lacking the ability to make phone calls which provides an unlimited internet connection anywhere you could pick up a cellular signal.
In conclusion, you’d be better off buying a $500 laptop computer and doing whatever you want with it than being stuck with a $500+ iPad. A laptop would come with a WiFi network card, and with the right setup you can use any cell phone to connect a laptop to a cellular network as needed. Plus it closes.
