One of the original iPad applications is the Netflix. This application is extremely beneficial for iPad users to watch as many movies as they want, with the condition that the movies are available on the Netflix service. However, the iPad users must first register themselves as the Netflix member. Currently, there are more than 20,000 movies and television shows in the Netflix service. Like any players in the computer, you can stop the movie and pick up from where you left later on. This is indeed one great application for movie lovers.

There is another built-in application in the iPad called the Loopt Pulse. This application is perfect to be used for events planning around a location. In this application, you will be able to view your location and everything that is going on in the vicinity. The right side of the screen displays the places on the map and details about them while you can see a list of places on the left side. You can even browse through the places by pictures. More like a mobile map, this Loopt Pulse is great for one to understand more about places in their areas.

The Captain’s Log is among the best iPad applications available. It can turn your iPad into a log that resembles the Captain’s Log in “Star Trek”. With this application, you can create your own notes and post them to both the Facebook and Twitter. This application may be more mediocre compared to the TweetDeck but it can give a retro and futuristic sentiment to an iPad user making him feeling like a starship captain.

There is another really useful built-in application in the iPad – eBay. Certainly, the eBay is one very well-known online auction site where commerce activities are constantly going on.  And now, the eBay is available in iPad with its aim to engage more users into using the eBay. This application appears to be more advanced than the convention eBay search as the iPad has the touch screen feature. You can dash through numerous pages of products by simple swiping your finger. It also comes with a price histogram to allow consumers to search in their desired price range. Apparently, this is an immense improvement in terms of design and convenience of the eBay site as well as the Apple products.
