Ko’olau Mountains with LightTrac Application for IPAD

Attached in the note below is a screen shot from the IPAD Application LightTrac. This application can be used to understand lighting conditions of locations on a map. It can also be used for Solar survey for home / building / facility siting.

What the screen below shows is that Sunrise would illuminate the Pali Wayside viewpoint on April 28th at about 6:20 a.m.

5 exposure HDR created in Photoshop, tones with Photomatix Plug-in, then a little touch up with Topaz filters and exported from Lightroom.

What it won’t tell you is if there is cloud cover, fog, rain, etc. That would be pretty useful here on the Windward side. 😉
