what applications i can install for the ipad ? is it the same as the iphone and the macbook . can u download messenger or any kinds of apps and where can i find the downloads for the ipad in the apple store

They’re the same apps, yes, but only native iPad apps will run in full-screen mode. Apps made just for the iPhone/iPod touch have to be upscaled or run in a small window: http://ipod.about.com/od/ipad/qt/ipad-apps-fullscreen-mode.htm
When you’re at the App Store, the compatibility section on each app’s page will let you know if the app works with the iPad.
