Question by Jdavis: What is the best to learn how to develop iPhone/iPad applications from the ground up?
I am 17 an very interested in learning how to do this, I would like to know what steps I should take in learning this skill. What languages should I learn and what is the easiest way to learn them? Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance!

I am assuming you do not have any previous programming experience. I suggest picking up some beginners book. Make sure you follow the first few chapters line by line. Don’t miss out on basics.

Find a book on Objective-C, used in mac app development in addition to iPhone OS apps.
Objective-C is an Object Oriented offshoot of C that also started in 1984 like C++ did, but each had 26 years to evolve in different directions, so Objective-C looks nothing like C++ and other similarly syntaxed OO languages.
Once you have a little understanding of Objective-C, then find an iPhone development book, and it will start adding in what’s needed to build GUI apps for iPhones.
