Question by Bo Bo: Which iPad keyboard should I get?
I am already getting an iPad for my birthday, but it is strictly for school (typing papers, PowerPoint’s, etc.). I am in ninth grade and am still adjusting to school and I feel that if i get the iPad the keyboard will help a lot. Now, I’ve seen a lot of reviews about approximately three different kinds of keyboards.
The one that is built in to a case
The one that is attached to a dock
The one that is bluetooth
I thought the one built into a case would be the most convenient for me considering I’m going to be bringing it around, however I heard the keyboard itself feels cheap and is not as good as the bluetooth and built in dock one. Then while looking at the other two, I figure it would be a pain to lug around with me all day. Please help, which keyboard should i get?
P.S I would perfer answers from your preference or prior experiences, not verbatim from an online article because I most likely already read it. lol

Ok, well if your going to be lugging it around all day, defiantly the one thats built in the case. It would make no sense to carry a keyboard with you. Also, if you are buying an iPad, get the 3G. It makes no sense to get the wifi only.

DO NOT GET THE IPAD FOR SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you will be disappointed. you cannot plug in any flash-drives or have any Video outputs.
the I-PAD is just a big ipod with 3G.
plus you overpay for what you get. the processor it has a single core and is weaker than the intel XENON processor which is more than 5 years old the A4 is only 1yr old.
at least if you are going to overpay for a computer buy a MACBOOK it is more expensive but it will be worth it because you ALL the functions of a regular computer.
I-PAD = bad idea, overpriced, overhyped, NOT A COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would recommend you not to use the iPad for school… I mean, iPad isn’t really built for school only. Only a small number of apps are actually used for Pages and powerpoint-making programs. Plus, if you want a keyboard; wouldn’t that just be a kind of laptop? Except that laptops can accomplish so much more than the iPad. And laptops are more for school, having Microsoft or whatever you use for typing, making powerpoints, exel, and if your school has Wifi, then you can connect to the Internet as well. I know that if you buy the iPad with 3G/Wifi, then they will have the same results, but iPad is a lot more restricted, and the extent of its functions are extremely limited. I would really recommend you to get a small laptop or a netbook for school instead. And if you’re gonna use it for typing papers and making powerpoints and stuff, you’re eventually going to have to transfer the things to a computer, so why not just get a laptop?

Look at this iPad… it looks like a laptop!
But if you insist on an iPad… I would suggest that you get either the case or the bluetooth, whichever one is more convenient. The case I would think will limit your movement a little, but if you’re going to carry your iPad then that would be better. If you have more room in your bag, say, and you won’t be carrying it all around, bluetooth could be better because the keyboard can be moved around and you might like that more. But it’s up to you and what you like.
