Question by Pablo: Will the upcoming Apple iPad include Microsoft Office or at least Word?
I don’t know if I should buy an iPad, but if it does not include Office, well I think is not worth it. Besides that Apple should have put more time to their iPad to make a better pruduct; I mean no camera, no multiple running applications, iPhone software instead of mac, ATNT only, common apple!
You are right there’s nothing cool about it, besides I already have an iTouch it’s not worth my money. But as long as it fits on an yellow office envelope…jajajaja

All the iPad is is an enlarged iTouch. Its cool, but that’s all it is..a new cool gadget. It does not have microsoft word on it.
The Apple iPad does not include the Microsoft Office suite. However, you can purchase Documents To Go ® on the AppStore. The application can open and edit microsoft word documents as well as excel and powerpoint. The app is pretty much Microsoft Office. The iPad will have a specific iWork suite created for it (this includes Apple’s Pages, Numbers, and Keynote). Again, these have identical if not more functions than the Microsoft Office suite. So while there might not be an actual microsoft office for the iPad, there will be apps that perform the same function for it. Hope this helps
Well my iPod Touch can read and view the .ppt and .doc Microsoft Word files that are attached in my e-mails however I doubt there will be an actual application that allows for the creation and management of word documents, powerpoint, or spreadsheets. The iPad is a pretty horrible idea at the moment but it usually takes Apple a couple generations with a new device to really take it to a new and accessible level. Maybe in a couple of years we will see some of the above ideas in their iPad 3G.
